What inspired you to pursue a career in marketing? Were you in another field before this?
Marketing isn’t cut and dry. There is no one size fits all solution, which makes how I achieve every customers goal unique.
Previously, I was headed for a career in TV/Video Production, as an editor.
Originally, when I started marketing, we were IT and Website Design. I saw more of a need to make an impact with marketing and made that transition.
What do you find most rewarding about your job? What are some of the biggest challenges you face in your role?
The most rewarding thing about my job is the ability to find solutions for a customers problem and watch them scale and grow.
It is rewarding to work with our team and help watch them grow.
A big challenge for me is staying on top of the changing marketing landscape and platforms.
How do you maintain a healthy work-life balance?
A healthy work-life balance is important. I think when you’re passionate about what you do, you’re doing to exceed at your job. For me, it’s important to make sure that my job is getting done, my customers and team are happy, and that I can spend time with my family.
Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests that you’re passionate about?
Spending time with family, listening to country music, going to the beach, or trying new restaurants.
What motivates you to excel in your role, and how do you stay engaged and enthusiastic about your work on a day-to-day basis?
Achieving every marketing strategy is different for each customer. This motivates me as each day is a new challenge and there are no two days that are alike.
Can you describe your leadership style or philosophy?
I want to be the opposite of every bad boss or manager that someone has ever had. I trust, empower, and believe in my team. I feel that with the right people when you do those 3 things, they will succeed.
