What inspired you to pursue a career in marketing? Were you in another field before this?

I actually began my career in accounting, which gave me a strong foundation in numbers, analysis, and structured problem-solving. While in that role, I was given the opportunity to take on some of my company’s social media, and that’s when I really discovered my passion for marketing and branding. I enjoyed the challenge of connecting with an audience, building a voice, and seeing the direct impact of creative campaigns. What excited me most was that marketing allowed me to use both my analytical skills and my creativity together. That balance inspired me to make the full switch into marketing, and it has been a rewarding career path ever since.

What do you find most rewarding about your job? What are some of the biggest challenges you face in your role?

What I find most rewarding about my role is seeing the direct impact marketing can have on brand growth and audience engagement, as well as the opportunity to merge creativity with strategy. At the same time, one of the biggest challenges is keeping up with the fast-changing marketing landscape and making thoughtful choices about which platforms or trends are worth pursuing. I enjoy the variety of projects and clients that I get to work with, balancing creativity with data to ensure campaigns are both engaging and results-driven.

Outside of work, what are some of your hobbies or interests that you’re passionate about?

Outside of work, you’ll find me spending time with my family and my dog. I play tennis, enjoy cooking and trying new foods, and I’m always excited to travel and explore new places.

What motivates you to excel in your role, and how do you stay engaged and enthusiastic about your work on a day-to-day basis?

What motivates me most is setting goals and then seeing the results of those efforts come to life. In marketing, it’s rewarding to watch how strategy and creativity translate into measurable outcomes, whether that’s stronger engagement, brand growth, or new opportunities for a business. I’m also a big believer in lifelong learning, and am constantly looking for the latest industry research and learning new things from the ONE18 team.
